Welcome to Madeira Tech School! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, including enrollment, access, and participation in courses provided by Madeira Tech School. By enrolling in or accessing any of our courses, you agree to abide by these Terms.
1. General Information
1.1 Madeira Tech School is an educational institution offering digital skills programs including, but not limited to, WordPress Development, Digital Marketing, UX/UI Design, and Analytics. Our headquarters are located in Madeira, Portugal.
1.2 Madeira Tech School operates both online and in-person courses, with a focus on practical, industry-relevant skills to enhance students’ ability to enter the digital workforce.
2. Enrollment
2.1 Eligibility Requirements
To enroll in any Madeira Tech School program:
- You must be at least 18 years of age.
- You must meet the minimum requirements outlined for each course.
- Proof of identification may be required during the application process.
2.2 Enrollment Process

- Full payment or an approved payment plan is required to confirm enrollment.
- Madeira Tech School reserves the right to accept or decline enrollment at its discretion.
2.3 Refund Policy
- Refunds are available within the first 14 days after enrollment confirmation, provided the student has not accessed course materials beyond the introductory module.
- Any requests for refunds beyond this period are subject to school policy and approval.
3. Course Content and Access
3.1 Course Materials
- Course content, materials, and any downloadable resources are provided exclusively for enrolled students. These materials are protected by copyright and intended solely for educational use.
- Unauthorized sharing, reproduction, or resale of any course materials is strictly prohibited.
3.2 Access Period
- Access to online materials remains available to students for the duration of the course and may extend up to six months after course completion, depending on the program.
- Madeira Tech School reserves the right to modify or terminate access to certain resources at its discretion.
3.3 Course Changes and Cancellations
- Madeira Tech School reserves the right to modify course content, schedules, or instructors as necessary. In case of significant course alterations, enrolled students will be notified promptly.
- If a course is canceled due to unforeseen circumstances, Madeira Tech School will provide alternative options or refunds.
3.4 After Program Job Assistance, Extracurricular Activities & Support.
After the course the graduates can use the networking events, work fairs, conferences and other instances freely according to availability.
Madeira Tech School will extend invitations to the graduates to assist in the website, newsletter or other instances. The graduates also are elegible to receive recommendation letters from the faculty of Madeira Tech School to facilitate getting the first job.
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Options
- Payments can be made via major credit/debit cards, bank transfer, or other payment methods listed at enrollment.
- Payment plans may be available for select courses. Additional fees or interest may apply based on the plan terms.
4.2 Late Payments
- Failure to make timely payments may result in restricted access to course materials or enrollment termination.
- If a payment plan is canceled or defaulted, any remaining balance will become immediately due.
4.3 Scholarships and Financial Assistance
- Madeira Tech School may offer scholarships or financial assistance to eligible students. The eligibility criteria and application process will be outlined on the website when these instances are available.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1 Expected Behavior
- Students must conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior is strictly prohibited. We hold the same standards that any digital company.
- Academic integrity is paramount. Plagiarism, cheating, or submitting work that is not your own will result in disciplinary actions, including course termination.
- The students must communicate with each other for studying purposes using the approved channels, and provide fill up their documentation journals weekly.
- All official communications in the school are in English, as this is the language approved by most of the digital companies that may employ our students.
5.2 Attendance Requirements
- Students enrolled in in-person courses are expected to attend all scheduled classes. Absences without prior notification may impact course completion and certification. As the course works collectively the students that do not participate in the scheduled lessons, sessions of practice or weekly project work may be expeled if their group is impacted and they collectively decide to rescind their participation. In this scenario, the rest of the group may request further assistance with the tasks from the absent member.
5.3 Consequences of Misconduct
- Madeira Tech School reserves the right to expel students for violating the Code of Conduct. Expulsion due to misconduct is non-refundable.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 Personal Data
- Madeira Tech School collects and processes student data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.
- By enrolling, you consent to the collection and use of personal information for purposes including, but not limited to, course delivery, certification, and marketing.
6.2 Third-Party Services
- Some course activities may involve third-party services or software (e.g., Figma, WordPress). Madeira Tech School is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties.
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Ownership of Materials
- All content, graphics, videos, and course materials provided by Madeira Tech School are the property of Madeira Tech School and are protected by intellectual property laws.
- Students are granted limited, non-transferable access to use course materials solely for personal educational purposes.
7.2 Use of School Branding
- Unauthorized use of the Madeira Tech School material n any capacity other than course-related activities is prohibited, but the students are allowed to use any branding, logos, corporate image or assets in their personal accounts, if they link the posts with Madeira Tech School official accounts.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Madeira Tech School is committed to providing high-quality educational content. However, we make no guarantees regarding employment, income, or professional certification as a result of completing our courses.
8.2 Madeira Tech School shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use or inability to use course materials, or for any action taken in reliance on course content.
9. Certification
9.1 Certificate of Completion
- Students who successfully complete all coursework and assessments will receive a certificate confirming their skills and achievement.
- Certification titles (e.g., Junior UX/UI Designer) reflect an introductory level of competency as determined by Madeira Tech School and are not equivalent to accredited certifications unless otherwise specified.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
10.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal.
10.2 Dispute Resolution
- In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through mediation.
- If mediation fails, disputes will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the courts of Madeira, Portugal.
11. Amendments
Madeira Tech School reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Enrolled students will be notified of any significant changes, and continued enrollment in courses following such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
